Our interview process

Interviewing for a new job can be intimidating. Here is some information and resources designed to help you know what to expect and how to prepare for an interview at TI.

What we are looking for in a TIer

Trustworthy. Inclusive. Innovative. Competitive. Results-oriented. Do these words describe you? These are the values we are looking for in a TIer.

We are looking for people who are proactive and eager to learn from every situation.

Virtual interviews

During virtual interviews, you will speak with a potential manager about the role. Expect the discussion to last 30 to 45 minutes and cover behavioral questions and assess your technical skills for the role.

On-site interviews

On-site interviews usually consist of face-to-face discussions with hiring managers and members of the team. Your visit could include lunch, a tour of the facility and an information session about the role.

Choose your path

We offer two distinct paths for students and new graduates. Gain some experience with an internship or kickstart your career with our Career Accelerator Program.

Internships

Every year, we welcome interns who work on challenging projects, develop personally and professionally, and experience firsthand what it’s like to work at TI.

You won’t be taking coffee orders or filing random paperwork. We assign our interns meaningful work from day one, and we are always amazed by what they achieve.

For interns who go above and beyond, we invite them back for another internship, or extend an offer to join our Career Accelerator Program for new college graduates.

Career Accelerator Program for New College Graduates

When you join TI as a recent graduate, our Career Accelerator Program will give you the tools you need to succeed:

  • Accelerated ramp-up: Our program provides you with the development tools and training you need to get up to speed quickly and start making a difference.

  • We are given tasks that would challenge our knowledge and skills. With these, we grow in a rapid rate and become excellent individuals.
  • The work environment is healthy, the people are kind and approachable, and the benefits are great.

  • Inclusivity is fostered at work. Also, we have the open door policy where we can approach our managers and directors. We are being treated equally at work and we consider each other as friends.
  • Things are getting a bit more toxic due to changes in management compared to previous years.
  • The pressure that comes with knowing how big of a company TI is can be difficult to deal with. People are expected to be the best of the best and it's scary to fall short of that.
  • The so-called 'Baptism by Fire' where new college graduates are directly set to work on difficult and challenging tasks.
  • Sometimes, I also get burned out due to multiple tasks we have to juggle around and being treated poorly by some colleagues.
  • There will be times when the workload will seem hard to manage, overwhelming, or challenging, especially for graduates who have no prior experience in the field.
