In a way, they will always take into account projects in line with your role and also diversify it to expand your knowledge and challenge your current standing. It takes motivation and initiative to move up the ranks. The opportunities are always there for you.

For our specific department, it's hard to transfer to other department because our roles are very critical and our Manager can hold us if we want to transfer to other work roles.

Promotion opportunities are endless especially if you are well performing.

There is a chance to rotate, but low chances of getting promoted.

Every year, we have our goal-setting, midyear review, and year-end review to evaluate our performance. TI is a performance-based company where our compensation increase is based on our performance for the past year.

There does not appear to be any opportunities to rank up as often as i expected it to be.

Promotion is not really in our department since the next line of promotion is manager. Currently, we won't get to that unless there's somebody who would retire. Career Progression Opportunities. We have rotation programs that would allow us to go and try other roles. We just need to tell and open it to our managers.

In my perspective, it's a little difficult to move up the ranks. We're a performance-based company so we provide promotion opportunities to top performers. Movement is also based on the business need.

Honestly not seeing that much on this regard given that I have encountered people in the same position for 10 years without any promotions which just left the company.
